The KÜS - motor vehicle control organisation of self-employed motor vehicle assessors (incorporated society)

Within the federal states of Germany the motor vehicle control organisation of self-employed motor vehicle assessors is an officially authorized organisation responsible for the security and safety on all roads. According to the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) the KÜS is officially allowed to inspect motor vehicles in our federal state (Mecklenburg-Western Pommerania).
These inspections conferring the inspection plates are related to:

Furthermore we do:

acceptance checks and certificates for improvements, betterments and attachments |

inspections according to GGVS/ADR |

inspections according to §§ 41/42 of the BO Kraft |

inspections according to international agreements about the road traffic and the “KÜS-Plus-Cachet” (inspection of used cars) |
The inspections of motor vehicles to get an inspection plate take place in inspection points approved by the federal state government. These inspection points we are allowed to propose are located in body shops.
While the inspections our engineers safe the data and results of the inspections with a notebook supported by an integrated database. Directly on-site a portable printer types out the reports.
According to the model and brand of the vehicle there is a computerised “catalogue of defects” developed and continuously updated by the “Federal Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Drivers” (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt) in cooperation with the control organisations. This catalogue enables safe inspecting and assessing. Advanced trainings on the job for the engineers are required by law and organised as well as realised by the “KÜS-Academy”.
